DoorDash Accelerator for Local Restaurants: Live & Local Series​

In partnership with Bridge for Billions, the DoorDash Accelerator for Local Restaurants: Live & Local Series was designed to empower restaurant owners in Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis to diversify their revenue streams. Through in-person events, 1on1 mentorship, entrepreneurship curriculum to support the addition of new revenue streams, and other loan and funding opportunities’, restaurant owners will receive the resources and support they need propel their businesses forward.

The DoorDash Accelerator for Local Restaurants: Live & Local Series will strengthen the restaurant community, mentors and local partners in Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis, providing opportunities for networking and collaboration within this industry. Restaurant owners will be guided every step of the way with the essential resources and support they need to implement their additional revenue streams and receive up to 5K in funding to make their dreams become a reality.

We will review all applicants interested in joining the program and make selections based on eligibility criteria, intended revenue stream and motivation for joining the program.

Successful applicants will be invited to join the program and confirm their participation in the in-person kick-off events in May.

Kick Off Event

Join us in your city for a kick-off event to welcome merchants, mentors, and local community partners to the program. Learn, network, and connect with the merchant community in your city.

Matching & DoorDash Curriculum

Complete the DoorDash curriculum, designed specifically for food merchants to clarify your intended additional revenue stream. In parallel, you will be onboarded to the Bridge for Billions platform and have the opportunity to meet potential mentor matches.

Innovation & Mentorship

Work through the four-month innovation and mentorship phase to launch your new revenue stream. Receive personalized mentorship and support on a weekly basis as you move through the innovation platform, and participate in 3 in-person educational workshops in our city.

Closing Event

Attend the in-person final event to network and celebrate the closing of this program. You will also receive participation certificate the $5000 grant prize upon completing the program requirements.
