Pymar, leading change in the shipyard industry
Pymar is a company that brings together the main Spanish private shipyards to defend the interests of shipbuilding both in Spain and in Europe as a whole.
It works in collaboration with the State Administration and the autonomous communities. It has key instruments to improve and promote the competitiveness of the sector and provides technical, legal, and financial-fiscal advisory services both to shipyards integrated in the company and to financial entities that facilitate the materialization of their construction projects.
It is the governing body of the sector which coordinates and promotes the decisions adopted by mutual agreement of its members for the benefit of one of the longest-standing industries in Spain.

- If you’re passionate about improving the shipyard industry through innovation and also about entrepreneurship.
- If you have a minimum of 5 years of post-academic professional experience in the targeted fields.
- If you’re a mentor ready to commit 1.5 hours per week for the duration of the program.
- If you want to support entrepreneurs through weekly mentoring as they work on their ventures.

Go through the matching process and meet the founders. Select who you want to work with.
Entrepreneurs will also send out their rankings to let us know who they want to work with.

Start the program
Meet weekly with your mentee for the duration of the program to go over their business plan.
Don’t worry! Our program will guide your mentoring step-by-step through 8 business modules: From helping your mentee polish their value proposition to the development of their growth plan.

The 4th Industrial Revolution is changing everything around us, including the shipyard industry. In the past, the evolution of the shipbuilding sector was based on the use of new industrial processes and organizational improvement in shipyards.
Nowadays, the scope of innovation within the industry affects everything from quality employment, gender equality and adaptation to new technologies to the automation of production processes, in order to maximize productivity and the development of sustainable products to promote circular economy activities, among others.
