The adventure starts now!

From November 9th, 2022 to February 5th, 2023

As a mentor, your mission will be to meet weekly with the project you are working with (usually through video calls) to validate its progress within the platform.

Our incubation team is always accessible and will share with you resources for great mentoring, while following a structured methodology so you don't have to worry about what comes next.

You will connect with the rest of the mentors in the program in the face-to-face meetings we have prepared for all of you, where you will be able to share learning and challenges.

The best incubation tools

The Bridge for Billions methodology is based on developing a business plan from scratch while participants are surrounded by a supportive community: mentors, fellow entrepreneurs and our incubation team.

Our online incubation tools allow entrepreneurs to experiment, research and document their ideas step-by-step so that at the end of the program they can download their own business plan in PDF.

Questions about the program?

During the duration of the program, you will have to meet once a week with your entrepreneur for 1 hour mentoring meetings. In addition to that, we recommend always dedicating at least 30 extra minutes to review and validate progress on the platform, and go to the meetings prepared.

You must be able to use a laptop or desktop computer (not a tablet or cell phone) and preferably one of these browsers: Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox. We expect you to have a powerful and reliable Internet connection both for your weekly review on the platform and to participate in the calls with your entrepreneur via videoconference..

As a mentor, you will have a positive impact on someone’s life. You’ll meet and connect with students with innovative ideas and develop your mentoring skills, gaining exposure to the latest innovation and entrepreneurship methodologies while helping a startup grow.

Yes, however, we ask you to be realistic with your time commitment. We do not want anyone to overcommit or set expectations that they will not be able to meet due to lack of time.

To facilitate the matching process between mentors and mentees, or as we call it “matching”, we have created the process of “organic matching”.

This way, you will have the opportunity to meet the different participating projects, invite them to a “Virtual Coffee” to get to know the ideas in detail and then both parties can decide if they want to work together or not. This way we make sure that we create solid and lasting mentoring relationships.

No, all mentors in this program are volunteers.

Your role as a mentor will consist on guiding your entrepreneurs throughout the Incubation process. Using the online tools as a guide, you will help your entrepreneurs validate their strategies throughout the program and support them through the virtual meeting once a week. The tools cover:

  1. Value proposition
  2. Competitor map
  3. Stakeholder map
  4. Business and marketing model
  5. Pricing and business viability
  6. Financial projections
  7. Impact plan
  8. Growth plan
