The program offers a gamified, step-by-step learning experience that helps entrepreneurs design and validate their business models. Unlike purely theoretical content, the methodology guides participants to work directly on their ideas and answer the tough questions about their projects.
Entrepreneurs are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone — talking to people, researching, and validating their ideas. Each week, a mentor is there to support them, challenge assumptions, and offer fresh perspectives.
The Restoration Factory is a mentoring and business incubation program that supports entrepreneurs and enterprises in developing commercially-viable, community-inclusive, and climate-resilient business models focused on ecosystem restoration.
To achieve this, the program leverages the expertise of a network of private-sector entrepreneurs and experienced mentors who guide participants at every stage of their business development journey. This personalized support is delivered through a rigorous 6-month incubation program based on proven business development curricula, including MIT’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship methodology.
The program is practical, solution-oriented, and evidence-based, using a scientific approach of experimentation through assumptions, testing, and validation, designed to prepare restoration enterprises for scalable growth. Participants receive mentorship and guidance in business development, with additional support for those developing the strongest ideas, scalable models, and investment plans.
By applying as an Incubation Manager on behalf of your incubator or accelerator, your organization becomes a key implementation partner of The Restoration Factory, working closely with Bridge for Billions, who will provide training and access to its cutting-edge entrepreneurship support platform.
“LSO” stands for “Local Support Organization” and can refer to an incubator, accelerator, coworking space, vocational school, venture fund, university, foundation, NGO, innovation hub, public entity, or any other organization whose primary focus is supporting entrepreneurs.
For this program, priority will be given to LSOs with prior experience supporting entrepreneurs in ecosystem restoration, as the program focuses on founders whose businesses contribute to rebuilding and preserving natural landscapes.
Selected LSOs are expected to assign a staff member (50% FTE) as the Incubation Manager for the program. The Incubation Manager oversees the operational implementation of the Restoration Factory Incubation Program in close collaboration with the Bridge for Billions Program Manager.
Together, they ensure the program’s success, including finalizing the program schedule, communicating with participants, monitoring and facilitating engagement with the program, the platform, and mentors, tracking participant progress, and providing support to both entrepreneurs and mentors from selection through to the closing sessions. This role requires approximately 15–20 hours per week over the full 8-month program, from Incubation Manager training and participant selection to the final event and impact assessment.
To be considered as a Local Support Organization for The Restoration Factory in Saint Lucia, your organization should meet the following criteria:
Be legally registered and based in Saint Lucia.
Have the capacity to dedicate at least 50% of one staff member’s time to serve as the Incubation Manager for the program.
The designated Incubation Manager must be available to complete the Training for Trainers (approx. 15 hours) before the program begins.
Demonstrate experience or strong interest in supporting entrepreneurs, particularly in businesses that restore ecosystems and preserve natural landscapes.
Bridge for Billions is a social enterprise that helps organizations design, build, and manage entrepreneurship and innovation programs to create value for all stakeholders.
